Participation fees

The participation fee is 250 euros per person. Full board (all meals and accommodation), souvenirs, excursions and prizes will be provided.

In May, after the team is accepted, half of all participation fees should be paid (via PayPal, or by a bank transfer to an account which will be specified later) as a non-refundable guarantee of team's participation.

Participation Agreement and Parental Consent Form

All participants should read and sign the Participation Agreement and the Questionnaire for Medical Emergencies: Participation Agreement (PDF)

Participants under the age of 18 must also have their parents’ or legal guardians’ signature on the Parental Consent section on this form.

The forms should be sent as soon as possible to oc@itym.org and before June 15, 2019 (one zipped file containing the agreements of all the members of the team). The participants must give the signed originals of the forms to local organisers upon their arrival.

Arrival and departure

All participants are expected to arrive to the residence in Barcelona on July 1 before 23:00 and stay throughout the entire duration of the ITYM until July 8.

Team leaders are requested to send the travel details (train or flight number, scheduled arrival date and time) of their teams to oc@itym.org.

Early arrival or late departure

Participants who are willing to arrive before July 1 or to leave after July 8, should do so at their own extra-expense. In such a case, please contact us. Note that these extended days are not an official part of ITYM, so we cannot assume responsibility of any kind.

Arriving by plane

Barcelona El Prat airport is located 14 km southwest from the city center. A person from the Local Organising Committee will meet you at the airport upon your arrival (look for a person with an ITYM 2019 poster). The easiest way to get from the airport to the city center is by means of the Aerobus express bus.

Meals & Refreshments

Participants will have their breakfasts and dinners at the residence and most of their lunches at St. Paul's School. Refreshments will be available during Rounds and Finals.

Internet Access

Wi-Fi access will be provided at the residence and St. Paul's School.

Sports

Participants will be able to play sports during their free time at St. Paul's School's sports grounds. A collective sports activity will also be held according to the timetable. All participants including jury members and organisers will be invited to play basketball, football or volleyball. Please bring sportswear and shoes.

Excursion

An excursion will be organised during the tournament. Please have a passport and a student ID (if you have one) on you during the excursion.
