PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The main events of this year's tournament will be held at

The participation fee is 250 euros per person for the members of the teams. The participation fee for an observer is 400 euros.

We will provide accommodation, meals, an excursion, a T-shirt, a welcome bag with a notebook, a pen and other gadgets, as well as medals and prizes. A large part of the expenses will be covered thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.

In May, after the team is registered and accepted by the IOC, you will be asked to pay the participation fees via PayPal or a bank transfer to an account that will be specified.

Participants under the age of 18 must also have their parents’ or legal guardians’ signature in the Parental Consent section.

The form should be sent to oc@itym.org before June 15 (one zipped file containing the agreements of all the members of the team). The participants must give the signed originals of the forms to local organisers upon their arrival.

Citizens of the EU, Belarus, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine and many other countries may visit Georgia without a visa for a year. If you need a visa, then please indicate so in the registration form and we will send you a suitable official invitation letter.

All participants are expected to arrive to the hotels on June 28 before 23:00 and stay throughout the entire duration of the ITYM until July 5.

Team leaders are requested to send the travel details of their teams (train or flight number, scheduled arrival date and time) to oc@itym.org.

Participants who are willing to arrive before June 25 or to leave after July 5, should do so at their own extra-expense. Note that these extended days are not an official part of ITYM, and we cannot assume responsibility of any kind.

The easiest way to get to Tbilisi is by airplane. Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport is located 17 km southeast of Tbilisi. A person from the Local Organising Committee will meet you at the airport upon your arrival (look for a person with an ITYM 2020 poster).

Most of the participants will be accommodated at Holiday Villa Hotel**** and Agava Hotel***.

Teams will have their breakfasts at the hotels. Lunches and dinners will be served at the universities. There will also be refreshments during the rounds and finals.

Wi-Fi access will be provided at the hotels and the universities.

A collective sports activity will be held according to the timetable. All participants including jury members and organisers will be invited to play basketball, football or volleyball. Please bring sportswear and shoes.

An excursion will be organised during the tournament. Please have a passport and a student ID (if you have one) on you during the excursion.
